Victoria McIvor is an Associate at SET Ventures, she joined the company in 2019.

At SET Ventures Victoria is a part of the investment team, sourcing and executing on deals as well as leading on thematic research. She is also responsible for Impact & ESG implementation, D&I and financial reporting. Alongside her work at SET, she is founder and Director of The Climate Tech Foundation, through which she runs two organisations; ETM Amsterdam and Cleantech Female Founders.

Victoria has a background in energy and technology. She began her professional career in the British nuclear industry where she developed a specialisation in the decommissioning of fuel ponds, gaining Accredited Health Physicist status in 2016. In 2017 she won a Daiwa Scholarship as a leader in her field, prompting a move to Japan. There she learned Japanese and worked at two start-up companies in the renewable energy transition; TRENDE Inc and SOGO Energy.
Her passion for startups started in 2015, when in her free time she founded and ran a business created to donate money to conservation efforts abroad.
Victoria has a BSc Physics from the University of Glasgow and a PGCert Nuclear Technology from the University of Manchester. She speaks English and Japanese.
