Victoria McIvor is an Analyst at SET Ventures, she joined the company in 2019.

At SET Ventures, Victoria is responsible for internal in-depth industry reviews and deep dives. Additionally, Victoria supports the investment team in various aspects of deal flow, executing investments, and primary due diligence.

Victoria began her professional career in the nuclear industry as a Magnox-sponsored participant of the inter-organisational Nucleargraduates leadership programme. She worked across a number of sites specialising as a Radiological Protection Engineer and gained Accredited Health Physicist status in 2016. In 2017 she was awarded a Daiwa Scholarship which enabled a move to Japan, where she studied Japanese and completed internships with two start-up companies working in the energy transition; TRENDE Inc and SOGO Energy.

Her first involvement in start-ups was during the Nucleargraduates programme, where she was founder and CEO of a small business created to donate money to conservation efforts abroad.

Victoria has a BSc Physics from the University of Glasgow and a PGCert Nuclear Technology from the University of Manchester. She speaks English and Japanese.
