Sefaira is headquartered in London with offices in London and New York. Sefaira empowers designers to deliver high-performance buildings. Sefaira provides a cloud based approach to building sustainable design analysis. The analysis is completed using an intuitive web interface or software plugin (for Revit or SketchUp) for user interaction and a cloud based calculation engine to help users make quantitative design decisions to improve buildings’ sustainability.

Compelling about Sefaira’s product offering is their user friendly front end coupled to a fast computation engine allowing calculations that used to take days or weeks to complete to be performed in seconds. This allows for all building design decisions to be made based on quantifiable sustainability and financial values. The cloud based nature of the software allows for fast version releases with new features, typically every 3-6 weeks. Sefaira provides performance analysis inside the 3D modelling environment. Sefaira interprets models on the fly, delivering results while designing, Sefaira makes it easy to understand how a design is performing.

Sefaira was founded in 2009 by Mads Jensen, CEO, and Peter Krebs, CTO, with a mission to promote more sustainable buildings by helping the building industry design, build, operate, maintain and transform all facets of the built environment. Mads Jensen has experience in the construction sector and is a savvy businessman. Peter Krebs has founded and was lead architect of two successful software businesses: Webfood and UGryd and has a decade of sustainable building and technology entrepreneurship.
