Wildpoldsried, 31 May 2017 – As of 1 June 2017, Matthias Dilthey will take over the role of Vice President Operations & Trading at sonnen. His responsibilities will cover the operational management of sonnen’s energy services and energy trading, including energy procurement, marketing of power generation and flexibility.
Matthias Dilthey previously held the position of Head of Portfolio Management and Optimisation at the Mannheim energy provider beegy GmbH, where he was responsible for the Virtual Power Plant (VPP), energy procurement and flexibility. His focus areas also included trading, energy management, marketing of flexibilities as well as regulation and direct marketing.
He gathered extensive trading experience in his previous roles at energy companies such as EnBW and E.ON.
