December 6, 2012 – AlertMe recognized in Red Herring Global 100 event and announces move to East London´s growing Tech City.
AlertMe, the Smart Home Technology company, has received its latest recognition at the Red Herring Global 100 event in Los Angeles. The Global 100 recognises the most promising privately held technology/life sciences companies selected from thousands of entrants across Europe, The Americas andAsia. The Red Herring Global 100 is the latest in a number of technology business recognition awards AlertMe has received in 2012. The company was recently named by the Sunday Times Tech Track 100as 9th fastest growing tech company in theUK and has also been rated the No1 technology startup inLondon by Wired Magazine. AlertMe services have also been winning accolades for its partners. In November, Remote Heating Control won the Stuff Magazine Best Home Gadget Award for British Gas and the IRIS Smart Home service from giant US DIY retailer Lowe’s, has already been named as one of the CES 2013 Innovation Honorees and will be showcased at CES in Las Vegas in January 2013.
Also AlertMe´s announcement that it is planning to move to Tech City has been welcomed by Prime Minister David Cameron, while on his second anniversary visit to Tech City London. The Government invests GBP 50M regenerating Old Street into this visionary, largest indoor civic space dedicated to startup´s and entrepreneurs. So far several major corporate committments to Tech City come from Microsoft, Cisco, KPMG, IBM, Barclays, Ravensbourne, Skills Matter and SalesForce.
